Doves In Madeira Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 doves
    lemon juice
    salt and pepper
    7 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. Madeira wine
    1/2 c. chicken stock
    1/4 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Rub doves inside and out with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Brown in 3 tablespoons butter in a casserole dish, then saute the onions in 2 tablespoons butter.
