Italian Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. minced onion
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine egg, cracker crumbs, onion, 1/3 cup tomato sauce, oregano, salt and pepper; mix well and add to meat.
    Mix thoroughly; shape into flat rectangle, about 10 x 12 inches, on waxed paper.
    Sprinkle cheese evenly over meat.
    Roll up like a jelly roll; press ends of roll to seal.
    Place on rack in shallow baking dish.
    Bake for 1 hour.
    Drain off excess fat. Pour on remaining tomato sauce; bake an additional 15 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
