Copper Pennies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs. sliced carrots
    salt to taste
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 can tomato soup
    1 onion chopped
    1 green pepper chopped
Preparation
    Stir together remaining ingredients. Spoon over cooked carrots (drained).
    Store in covered container.
