Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. butter or shortening
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 3/4 tsp. soda
2 c. applesauce
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. plumped raisins
Preparation

Beat together on medium speed the brown sugar, white sugar and butter or shortening. Add the eggs. Sift together the flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and soda and add 1/4 of the flour mixture to the first mixture.
Alternate flour mixture with the applesauce until all ingredients are added. Add the vanilla, nuts and raisins. Bake at 350\u00b0 until cake does not leave imprint when touched.
