Drop Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter, melted
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    egg whites
Preparation
    Cream eggs and sugar.
    Add melted butter.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Refrigerate 2 hours.
    Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet.
    Smash down with bottom glass dipped in flour.
    Brush with egg whites.
    Decorate if desired.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Serves several dozen.
