Teriyaki Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 6 chicken breasts
1/2 c. medium sweet sherry
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 cloves of crushed garlic
1/4 c. corn oil
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
Preparation

Boil soy sauce and sherry, then stir in sugar and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring lightly.
Add garlic, pepper and oil.
Set aside; cool before using.
Marinate chicken breast for 3 hours (more for a stronger taste).
Discard any used marinade.
Can be used with pork, beef, fish or vegetables.
Any unused marinade will keep indefinitely.
