Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

Beat egg until light, add buttermilk; mix well.
Combine with dry ingredients with a few swift strokes.
Beat in oil.
Pour batter for individual pancakes on hot skillet.
Makes ten 4-inch pancakes.
