Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. boiling water
1 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. flour
Preparation

Pour boiling water over oats; let stand for 20 minutes.
Mix butter and sugar; add eggs, soda, salt and flour.
Mix in oats, pour into 8 x 12-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven.
Let stand 5 minutes.
