Warm Water Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. cocoa (heaping)
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 c. warm water
1 tsp. soda

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add cocoa.
Blend well.
Add eggs; beat until smooth.
Put soda in flour.
Add milk along with flour. Add warm water last.
Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0.
Frost with your favorite fudge icing.
