Peanut Fondant - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1/2 c. water
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Mix sugar, syrup and water.
    Cook until it hardens when tested in water.
    Stir into well beaten egg whites; beat until cool. Roll out on buttered board, then cover with peanut butter.
    Roll up and cut out in pieces.
    (Roll up as you would jelly roll.)
