Mayonnaise Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. food coloring

Preparation

Mix together first four ingredients.
Gently fold in flour, baking soda, cocoa, salt and food coloring.
Pour batter in two well-greased cake pans.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Leave in pan 10 minutes.
Frost cake with favorite frosting.
