3 small red-skinned potatoes, cut in half
1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 (16 oz. each) cans or pouches sauerkraut, rinsed
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
2 medium-size Granny Smith apples, quartered
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 lb. fully cooked smoked kielbasa, cut into 1-inch pieces
