Sauteed Green Beans - Herbs(Serves 4) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. green beans (1 lb.)
    `1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. olive oil
    1 medium red onion, diced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp. dried basil
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
    Cut the green beans into 2-inch lengths.
    In a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, warm oil until hot but not smoking. Add onion and garlic; saute for 30 seconds.
    Add the beans, basil, oregano, salt and peppers; saute until the beans are tender but still crisp, 3 to 5 minutes.
