Hearty Sausage Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 c. diced cooked potatoes
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen lima beans, cooked and drained
1 (7 oz.) can whole kernel corn
8 oz. thinly sliced Polish sausage
Preparation

Melt butter in a 4-quart Dutch oven.
Saute onion until tender, about 3 minutes.
Stir in flour and seasonings until smooth.
Remove from heat and gradually stir in milk and broth. Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
Add potatoes, lima beans and sausage.
Heat all these ingredients thoroughly and serve.
