Chocolate Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. half and half
Preparation
    Place chocolate squares and butter in small heavy skillet. Melt chocolate over low flame.
    In mixing bowl, combine sugar and cream. Add to melted chocolate.
    Stir over medium-low flame until sauce reaches boiling point.
    Reduce heat.
    Cook over low flame until sauce thickens slightly.
    Stir in vanilla. Serve hot or cold over ice cream.
