Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stewing beef or chuck
    5 medium potatoes
    3 carrots
    2 celery stalks
    1 medium onion
    1 c. frozen peas
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Stew meat in skillet until tender.
    Brown.
    Remove from skillet and make gravy.
    Peel and dice potatoes.
    Cook in salted water.
    Peel and slice carrots.
    Cook in salt water until tender. Slice celery and chop onions; cook together until tender.
    Add all ingredients to gravy.
    Add frozen peas.
    Let cook for approximately 5 minutes.
    Serves 6.
