Squash Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped bacon
    3 c. cubed summer squash
    1/2 c. hot water
    1/4 c. catsup
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Lightly brown bacon; add onion.
    Cook until golden.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and simmer until just tender, 15 to 20 minutes.
