Chicken And Peppers(Yields 4 Servings; Pan Size: Skillet) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/3 c. olive oil
1 (3 1/2 lb.) chicken, cut up
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 (28 oz.) can Italian tomatoes
1 lb. green bell peppers, cut into 2-inch strips
Preparation

Saute onion and garlic in olive oil in skillet for 5 minutes. Add chicken.
Saute until brown on all sides.
Add basil, oregano, tomatoes, green peppers and salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer, covered, for 35 minutes or until chicken is tender.
Cook, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes if necessary to reduce liquid.
