Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 pt. sour cream
    1/2 diced onion
    2 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar)
    1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash browns or 8 potatoes, peeled and boiled until tender
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 Tbsp. pepper
    2 c. cornflake crumbs
Preparation
    Thaw potatoes; put in buttered dish.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper; dot with 1 stick butter.
    Mix soup, sour cream, cheese and onion in separate bowl; pour mixture over potatoes.
    Mix cornflakes and melted butter; sprinkle over mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
