Spaghetti With Fresh Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    10 plum tomatoes, coarsely chopped
    2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    2 lb. spaghetti
    salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
    1 1/2 c. pasta cooking water
    1/2 c. chopped fresh basil
    1 c. grated fresh Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In a large saute pan, heat the oil until hot.
    Add the tomatoes and saute over low heat for 5 minutes.
    Add garlic and cook 30 seconds more.
    In a large pot, bring water to boil.
    Add pasta and 1 tablespoon of salt.
    Cook pasta until tender, but still has some bite.
    Remove 1 1/2 cups of the pasta cooking water and pour it over the tomatoes.
    Drain pasta and transfer to a large bowl.
    Bring tomato mixture to a boil.
    Add the pasta, basil, salt and pepper; toss thoroughly and serve at once.
    Pass the cheese separately.
