Farmer'S Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. cocoa
3/4 c. butter
1 c. hot water
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sour milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nut meats
Preparation

Stir butter into cocoa and hot water; allow to cool. Sift dry ingredients together and stir into cocoa mixture. Add eggs; beat in sour milk and then vanilla. Add nuts. Spread on a greased 16 x 11-inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 20 minutes. When cool, top with an icing of half cocoa and half powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons of softened butter added for richness.
