Oven Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 C. Oil
    1/3 c. Butter
    1 c. All purpose flour
    1 tsp. Salt
    2 tsp. Black pepper
    2 tsp. Paprika
    1 tsp. Garlic salt
    1 tsp. Dried marjoram, optional
    8-9 pieces chicken
Preparation
    Place the oil and butter in a shallow baking pan and put into a 375\u00b0f. 190\u00b0c. gas mark 5 oven to melt.
    Set aside.
    In a large paper sack, mix the flour and seasonings.
    Roll the chicken pieces first in the oil and butter, then shake in the paper sack until coated.
    Then place the chicken in the pan, skin side down, and bake for 45 minutes.
    Turn over and bake for a further 5-10 minutes, or until the crust begins to bubble.
    Serve hot or cold, but the crust is better if the chicken isn't refrigerated before eating.
