Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef stew meat (bite size)
    1 medium onion, cut up
    4 oz. baby carrots, cut in half
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 large can tomato juice
    1 small head cabbage, cut in small wedges
    4 or 5 medium potatoes
    cayenne pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in a stew pot.
    Add additional water, if needed.
    Cook until meat and vegetables are tender.
