Deluxe Peach Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. mashed peaches
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 qt. milk
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine peaches and 1 cup sugar; stir well and set aside. Beat eggs until frothy.
    Combine next 3 ingredients; stir well. Gradually add to eggs; beat until thick.
    Add milk; mix well. Pour into a large saucepan; cook on low, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and coats a metal spoon about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and set pan in cold water; stir gently until cool.
    Stir in whipping cream and vanilla.
    Add peaches, stirring well.
    Pour mixture into 1 gallon freezer container; freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
    Let ripen at least 1 hour before serving.
