Butter Pecan Turtle Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    2/3 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. whole pecan halves
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Cut 1/2 cup softened butter into 1 cup brown sugar and all-purpose flour.
    When well mixed, pat into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle pecans evenly over unbaked crust and press lightly.
