Strawberry Fig Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. mashed figs
    3 c. sugar
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
Preparation
    Combine mashed figs, sugar and jello and mix thoroughly.
    Let stand 30 minutes.
    Slowly bring to a boil and boil slowly for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Pour into jars and process in water bath for 10 minutes.
    Can be mixed and stored in refrigerator overnight.
