Oven French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf French bread
    6 eggs
    3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 tsp. butter
    dash of salt
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Slice bread in 1 1/2-inch thick slices and arrange in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Beat eggs, milk, sugar, salt and vanilla together.
    Pour over bread.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Put a dash of butter on each slice and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Serve warm with your favorite syrup. If desired, during the last 10 minutes of baking, put a smokie link on each slice.
