Hot Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1/3 c. vinegar plus water to make 1/2 c.
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    5 c. diced, cooked potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onion
Preparation
    Cook bacon crisp; crumble.
    Combine 1/2 cup bacon drippings with next five ingredients.
    Heat and stir until thickened.
    Add potatoes, onion and bacon.
    Toss; heat thoroughly.
    Serves 6.
