Corn-Clam Chowder Chablis(Serves 4 Or 5) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon
    2 green onions
    1 (7 oz.) can minced clams and juice
    1 (No. 2) can yellow cream-style corn
    1 1/2 c. rich milk
    1/4 c. Chablis or other white dinner wine
    1 tsp. salt
    crackers
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp; drain and crumble.
    Chop onions very fine and cook in 1 tablespoon of bacon drippings until soft but not browned.
    Add all other ingredients, except crackers, and bring just to boil.
    Simmer about 5 minutes.
    Crumble crackers
    in bottom of soup bowls.
    Pour in hot soup and serve immediately.
