Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1/4 lb. Swiss cheese
    3 raw eggs
    1 pt. half and half
    1 tsp. salt
    1/16 tsp. pepper
    1/16 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 (8-inch) pie crust
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Drain and crumble into pie crust. Arrange Swiss cheese over bacon.
    Beat eggs in bowl slightly with rotary beater; add half and half, salt and pepper.
    Blend together.
    Pour ingredients over bacon and cheese in pie crust. Bake in moderately hot 400\u00b0 oven for approximately 40 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
    Remove while center still appears soft and allow to cool slightly before cutting.
