Spiced Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (29 oz.) can peach halves
    1 c. cider vinegar
    2 tsp. whole cloves
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    4 cinnamon sticks
Preparation
    Drain peaches; reserve syrup.
    Combine syrup, vinegar, cinnamon sticks and cloves in a saucepan.
    Bring to a boil, then lower temperature.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Pour over peach halves and let cool.
    Chill before serving.
