Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk, scalded
    1 1/4 c. cooked, cooled rice
    1 c. seedless raisins
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    dash of ground cinnamon
    dash of ground nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine eggs, sugar and salt.
    Pour
    a little of the scalded milk into egg mixture and stir well.
    Return this mixture to scalded milk and mix well.
    Add rice, raisins, vanilla and spices. Pour into a buttered 1-quart baking dish; set dish in a shallow pan and pour 1-inch of water into shallow pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Yield:
    4 to 6 servings.
