Angel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 egg whites, beaten slightly
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    7/8 c. sugar, sifted twice
    3/4 c. cake flour, sifted twice
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
Preparation
    Combine egg whites, baking powder and cream of tartar; beat until stiff.
    Fold in sugar and flour.
    Blend in flavorings.
    Pour into medium size cake pan; place cake in cold oven.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Cool before removing from pan.
