Ground Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1(3 to 4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    1/3 c. Heinz 57 sauce
    1/2 c. sour cream
    hot buttered noodles
Preparation
    Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid.
    Brown the meat, mushrooms and onion in the butter or shortening.
    Stir in flour and salt. Add mushroom liquid, water and the Heinz 57 sauce.
    Stir well. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in sour cream. Serve immediately over the noodles.
