Ingredients

1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
5 Tbsp. flour
few grains salt
1 1/2 c. milk
2 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Mix brown sugar, flour and salt.
Gradually add milk.
Mix well.
Beat egg yolks and add to other ingredients.
Cook over hot water, stirring constantly until thick.
Add butter and pour into baked pastry shell.
Put meringue on top, using 2 egg whites. Brown in hot oven.
