Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. yellow squash
    1 medium onion
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 c. mushroom soup
    1 c. grated American or mild Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Slice squash and onions in saucepan.
    Cook in water over medium heat about 20 minutes.
    Drain in a colander.
    Mash and add other ingredients (except cheese).
    Place in greased 2-quart dish and cover top with the grated cheese.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes and serve.
