Darla'S Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. cream cheese
    6 oz. sour cream
    1 pkg. Ranch dressing mix
    1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes or tomatoes and green chilies
    1 bunch green onions, chopped (using green tops also)
    jalapeno peppers to taste, chopped
    fresh tomatoes
    finely grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix cream cheese, sour cream and Ranch dressing mix and pour into a 2-quart long Pyrex dish (13 x 8 x 1 1/2-inch).
    Refrigerate overnight or for several hours.
    Spread Ro-Tel tomatoes, green onions and jalapeno peppers in layers over first layer.
    Just before serving, spread chopped fresh tomatoes and grated Cheddar cheese over other layers.
    Serve as a dip with tortilla chips or Tostitos chips or serve over shredded lettuce as a salad with tortilla or Tostitos chips.
