Never Fail Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. shortening
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Combine flour, shortening, baking powder, soda and salt as you would for pie crust.
    Add eggs, vanilla, sugar and milk.
    Stir well, then roll dough (1/4 of dough at a time) 1/4-inch thick on floured board.
    Cut with cookie cutters.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
    (Do not let cookies brown on top.)
    Can frost with powdered sugar icing with almond flavoring.
