Orange - Peach Marmalade(Heritage Cookbook) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. peaches
    4 c. sugar
    2 oranges, sliced thin
    2 c. water
    10 to 12 maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Mix peaches and 2 cups sugar together and let stand.
    Boil oranges and 2 cups water for 1 hour.
    Add peach mixture to orange plus 2 cups of sugar.
    Boil 1/2 hour or until thick.
    Remove from stove and add cherries, cut into small pieces, also 2 or 3 peach seeds, cut thin.
    Pour into glasses and seal.
