Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn popped in 6 Tbsp. oil (make in 3 batches and do not salt)
    1 stick butter and 1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Cook all butter, margarine, sugar and corn syrup into a syrup until \"hard
    ball\".
    Remove
    from heat.
    Add vanilla and baking soda.
    This
    will
    foam.
    Pour
    over
    popped corn; mix. Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 250\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
    Let
    cool
    and
    break apart.
    Store in airtight container.
