Apple Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

16 c. apple pulp
1 c. apple cider vinegar
8 c. sugar
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
Preparation

Core and slice\tapples; add enough water to cook apples until soft.
Press
through
sieve
and
measure.
Combine all ingredients and cook about\t1
to
1 1/2 hours or until thick. Stir often\tto
prevent
scorching.
Pour into sterilized jars within 1/2-inch of\ttop.
Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 pints.
