Black Walnut Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs, beaten
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. black walnuts
1 tsp. coconut extract or any flavoring
Preparation

Combine sugar, oil and eggs.
Beat well.
Combine dry ingredients.
Add to sugar mixture, alternately with buttermilk, beating well after each addition.
Stir in nuts and flavoring. Pour batter into well-greased 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 65 minutes.
Leave in pan 10 minutes, then turn out on rack.
