Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. water
2 c. unroasted peanuts
2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Cook sugar, water and corn syrup until hard ball forms in cold water, then add unroasted peanuts and butter.
Cook until golden brown.
Take from heat and add soda and vanilla.
Pour in buttered pan and as soon as it is cold, break in pieces.
