Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. chopped pecans
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix.
    Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
    Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 25 more minutes.
