Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. broken pretzels (small pieces)
    1 c. butter, melted
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. sugar
    1 large box strawberry gelatin
    1 large carton Cool Whip
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
Preparation
    Thaw frozen strawberries.
    Mix the pretzels, butter and sugar. Pour into a 9 x 12-inch baking dish and bake at 400\u00b0 for 4 to 6 minutes.
    Cool.
    Cream the cream cheese and sugar together; fold in Cool Whip.
    Spread over cooled pretzel layer.
    Prepare strawberry jello with 2 cups boiling water.
    Add frozen strawberries.
    Pour onto cheese mixture when jello is slightly thickened.
