Bing Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. cherry jello
    1/2 c. pineapple juice
    1 c. boiling water or cherry juice
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1 c. pitted canned Bing cherries, drained
    1 head cabbage, grated or chopped fine
    1 large onion, grated or chopped fine
    carrot (just enough to add color), grated or chopped fine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. oil
Preparation
    Bring sugar, vinegar and oil to boil.
    Continue to cook until sugar is dissolved.
    Pour liquid mixture
    over chopped cabbage, onion and carrot.
    Marinate overnight.
