Pasta E Fagioli(Pasta And Beans) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ditalini pasta
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. ground fennel
    1 qt. canned chicken broth
    1 (40 oz.) can Great Northern beans
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Cover bottom of a 6-quart kettle with olive oil.
    Add garlic, basil, oregano and fennel.
    Cook until garlic is lightly browned. Cook pasta al dente.
    Drain well and set aside.
    Add beans and pasta to olive oil mixture.
    Add chicken broth and mix well.
    Add cheese, more broth if needed, salt to taste and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
