Roast Lamb(Arni Psito) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lbs. leg of lamb
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    salt
    pepper
    juice of 2 lemons
    oregano
    1 c. water
    4 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cut incisions in meat and fill with garlic mixed with salt and pepper.
    Rub leg of lamb with lemon juice and sprinkle with additional salt and pepper.
    Place in roasting pan with water and top with butter.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 until browned, lower to 300\u00b0, cover and bake until done.
    When meat is half cooked, peeled and quartered potatoes can be placed around meat.
    Uncover 10 minutes before serving to allow potatoes to brown.
    Makes 6-8 servings.
