Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 stick butter or margarine
2 c. confectioners sugar
2 eggs
1 stick butter
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
3 to 4 bananas
8 oz. Cool Whip
chopped nuts
maraschino cherries
Preparation

Melt 1 stick of butter and combine with graham cracker crumbs. Pat in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan; set aside.
Combine confectioners sugar, eggs and 1 stick butter; beat until fluffy. Spread over graham cracker crust.
Spread crushed pineapple over filling.
Slice bananas and arrange over pineapple layer.
Spread Cool Whip over bananas and garnish with nuts and cherries.
