*Ghela Cu Vin(Beef Stew With Wine) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. London broil or beef for stew
    2 lb. small white onions (use fresh or frozen)
    2 c. red wine
    6 garlic cloves
    1/2 c. oil
    1 tsp. oregano
    2 to 3 bay leaves
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    salt to taste
    6 whole black peppercorns
Preparation
    Brown beef in a little oil until tender. Add all other ingredients and remaining oil.
    Cook on low heat 30 to 40 minutes. Serve over rice.
